Country Creek Pet Hotel and Playground started out as a tiny conversation with my daughter: “Let’s create a space where we can board a few dogs.” That dream evolved quickly into, “Let’s open a new facility and establish a full-blown Doggie Daycare and Boarding business!”
Growing up in town, we weren’t allowed to have any pets. This only fueled my love for animals—especially dogs—and I couldn’t wait to have one of my own. As my own little family expanded, we bought some acreage and welcomed all sorts of animals into our lives. My passion for animals grew even more than I ever imagined, and I loved learning everything I could about them.
Dogs have always been at the top of my list. Through different personalities and countless experiences, they have taught me so much and brought immense joy into my life.
We are located on a beautiful 100-acre working farm. Your pups’ stay can be enhanced by observing our many farm animals, visible through the fencing as the pups play.
We have worked tirelessly to create a place where these dogs can feel at home. Not all of our little friends feel that way at first—some of them do miss home (and maybe your bed)—but we have found that starting them young helps them warm up to the hotel as their second home. We hope they enjoy their time with us, and we hope you feel comfortable with us as we grow as a business. We are all learning together (even you, as a pet owner!).
